The Science of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha: Finding Your True Prakriti
Understand the three fundamental biological energies that govern your physiology, emotions, and how to maintain balance across European seasons.
Ayurveda describes health not merely as the absence of disease, but as a dynamic state of equilibrium between body, mind, senses, and spirit.

At the foundation of this 5,000-year-old healing science lie the three Doshas—Vata (Ether & Air), Pitta (Fire & Water), and Kapha (Water & Earth).

### 1. Vata Dosha (The Principle of Movement)
Vata governs all biological movement, nerve impulses, circulation, and breathing. When balanced, Vata inspires creativity, agility, and enthusiasm. When aggravated by cold Slovak winds or hectic travel, it manifests as dry skin, constipation, joint crackling, and racing thoughts.

### 2. Pitta Dosha (The Principle of Transformation)
Pitta manages digestion, metabolism, enzymatic transformation, and body temperature. Balanced Pitta produces sharp intellect, warm courage, and radiant complexion. In excess, it causes heartburn, skin irritations, and irritability.

### 3. Kapha Dosha (The Principle of Structure)
Kapha provides lubrication, physical stability, cellular cohesion, and immune resilience (Ojas). In balance, Kapha yields deep compassion, stamina, and patience. When excessive, it leads to lethargy, sinus congestion, and fluid retention.

At Tritiya, every treatment begins with diagnosing which doshic forces require harmony.
